Director Bent Noerby Bonde
Bent (Danish) is a PhD in international communication with more than 20 years executive management experience in private, public, semi-public and non-profit media and international organizations working in more than 25 transitional countries. His expertise includes:
- Media development and communication strategies preventing violent conflicts and contributing to sustainable peace. Experience in designing and implementing such strategies in the Balkans, South Asia and Afghanistan.
- Media development and communication strategies in countries in transition to democracy in East and South East Europe, the Middle East and Nigeria.
- Design and implementation of public awareness campaigns, knowledge distribution, educational programmes, and two way strategic communications for a broad range of issues. Experience from Africa, Asia and Europe.
- Project and programme management dealing with media development and strategic communication on issues like poverty reduction, gender equality, human rights, minority rights, child rights, water and sanitation, good governance, European integration, democratization and electoral reform. Experience from geographic areas as varied as Africa, the Baltics, The Balkans, South Asia, and the Middle East.
- Coordination and collaboration between donors, international organisations, NGOs, local governments and civil society organisations. Experience in The Balkans, Afghanistan, the Baltics, Middle East, South Asia and Africa.
